My Beige Beauty – Owning 2003 Toyota Corolla GCC
Well slap me silly and call me Sally, I finally joined the ranks of Corolla owners! Picked up this 2003 GCC model, the beige sedan that’s become something of a legend. And for just 4,000 dirhams? Shoot, I shoulda bought one ages ago! She may have some miles under the hood but this car’s got plenty of life left in ‘er.
Exterior’s Showin’ Its Age But I Don’t Mind
Now I ain’t gonna pretend she looks brand new or nothing. After 20 years, you expect a lil wear. Few minor dents and scratches on the body. Bumpers look alright. Could use a new Toyota emblem on the trunk since the red paint’s fadin’. Those 15-inch steelies with hubcaps suit it nicely though. Gettin’ in and out’s a breeze with the doors and windows working smooth.
Inside Still Pretty Decent For An Old Gal
Leather on the seats worn down some but no tears or cracks. Dash and panels holding up fine, no cracks there either. Carpets have some stains but ain’t too noticeable. Everything works like power windows, air con, lighting, wipers. Sound system sounds tinny but gets the job done. All in all, she cleaned up nice inside. Previous owner kept ‘er tidy.
